I've bought 3 coffee makers in the last 15 yrs from black n decker. none lasted 5yrs and all 3 died cuz the heat element stopped working. black n decker wont fix the issue cuz they don't care. buy any other brand.

A: Use 6 cups white vinegar mixed with 4 cups water, you should do this once a month, place a disposable filter in the basket and press auto clean, part the the mixture will go through and the rest after 30 minutes
