Good quality product. Those who are complaining don't know how to mix properly. Get a paint mixer that you can attach to a corded drill. Then use this tool to spend five minutes mixing it properly then all of the "watery portions" of the product will mix back into the product. It goes on kind of a dark brown and dries to a matte black. Brilliant.

A: Just finished my driveway 19x23 ft or 437 sq ft. (40.6 sq meters) I bought two pails and I barely had enough to finish. I applied by pouring small strips, brushing in two directions then squeegee finish as I worked my way down the driveway. It was necessary to use a mixer on my power drill to stir before use.

Q: the previous homeowner left me 2 unopened pails of this. i have owned the house for 5 years now... is this still useable? if this is no good, am i able to exchange it? if not, what do i do with it?

A: -Yes. I had about 15 pails in my basement for about 10 years, and was able to use a mixer on my 1/2 inch drill, mix it up, apply it, and it worked fine. I am just now applying 6 more pails and the same thing...it mixes up fine with a power mixer and goes on easily.

A: There is some kind of grit in it. I have used the product in the past with both good and bad results. The bad results were as a result of improper storage at the store or warehouse distribution. When the product is frozen by outdoor storage or unheated indoors, it will separate and no matter how much you try to mix it, it just won't get to the consistency you need.

A: I used for asphalt a year ago and I love it. It was very easy to apply with low odor and it dried fast.Even after winter when I washed my driveway it looks like I've just coated yesterday. Definitely will buy again.
