The 3-inch nipple features male pipe threading and a SCH 40 rating, making it suitable for most galvanized iron pipe fittings and lines. Whether you're connecting pipes, valves or other fixtures, this nipple's strong steel construction can withstand a wide operating temperature range from -4 to 572 Fahrenheit and a pressure of up to 150 pounds per square inch.
