The Orion Locate Basic-3 marine red signal flares provide a beacon of light to attract attention and point rescuers to your position, day or night. These handheld red flares help guide rescuers and keep them on course, which is why having at least 6 is recommended in addition to aerial flares. The emergency flares cast a bright red glow to signal for help, and are visible to rescuers from more than 4 kilometres (up to 3 miles) away without the use of toxic perchlorate chemicals. PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM CANNOT BE RETURNED.
