Are fluorescent tubes being phased out?
Unlike certain types of incandescent bulbs, fluorescent tubes have not yet been phased out completely. Fluorescent tubes still have many uses and are fairly common, though LED replacements have all of the benefits of a fluorescent tube and none of the drawbacks.
