15 MINS | EASY | 6 STEPS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

STEP 1

Dry stain with cloth

Dry the stain with a cloth or paper towel.

STEP 2

Treat area with cold water

Treat the area with cold water - avoid using hot water as it may make the stain harder to remove.

STEP 3

Dab from the outside in

Never rub or wipe, as doing so could potentially damage the rug and make the stain worse.

STEP 4

Cover with paper towel

Once the stain has been successfully removed, put paper towel down to cover the area.

STEP 5

Vacuum area

Once dry, vacuum the rug.

STEP 6

Alternatively, if this process did not work, you could try again with dish soap, vinegar or non-bleach laundry detergent.
