What ages are your craft kits suitable for?
We have craft kits for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. Generally, kits for kids aged 3 to 7 tend to focus on basic skills like gluing, cutting and colouring. Kits for 6 years and up commonly teach skills like jewellery making, painting and drawing. For tweens and teens, you can often find kits for things like candle making, clay and putty compounds and more.
How long do the activities in kids’ craft kits take to complete?
The time required to finish an activity can vary from a few minutes to multiple hours, depending on the kit. The product details on each kit will specify the recommended age range as well as how long the activities are expected to take. Some kits contain multiple activities and projects to work on over several days or weeks.
Do any craft kits for kids require adult supervision?
Some of the more advanced craft kits for older kids and teens can typically be done independently with minimal adult supervision. However, for safety reasons we recommend that children under age 8 have an adult present to assist them while doing any craft project. Kits involving heat, sharp tools or chemicals will specify if close adult supervision is required.
