Why do I need a laptop bag?
As opposed to a casual backpack or daypack, laptop bags are specifically designed to protect your computer during transport. If you travel often for work or spend a lot of time on the road, a laptop bag is an essential purchase to keep your work data safe and secure. What's the difference between a regular backpack and a laptop backpack?

A laptop backpack differs from a regular backpack by offering specialized features to keep your device secure when moving around. Laptops have several delicate parts on their build (such as hinges) that can get damaged when carried in a regular backpack. Moreover, some laptop bags also help you secure your device with anti-theft properties.
