What do I need for trap shooting?
Here is the essential equipment you’ll need to participate in trap shooting:

· A 12-gauge semi-automatic or pump-action shotgun.

· 7 ½ or 8 shot shells.

· Eye and ear protection.

· A shooting vest to hold extra ammunition and shooting glasses.

· A shooting rest for extra stability.

What are the different types of targets for shooting?
There are several types of targets that are commonly used for shooting.

Paper targets are the most common type in shooting sports, usually printed with different target designs, including bullseyes and silhouette shapes.

Clay targets are used in shotgun shooting sports like trap shooting. They are launched into the air from a machine and are designed to simulate the flight of birds.

Reactive targets provide a visual or audible reaction when hit and can be made from a variety of materials, including steel and plastic.
