Yes. Ice fishing clothing is specifically designed to withstand hours outdoors in below-freezing winter conditions, which includes wind, snow, and moisture. Neoprene is a common waterproof material used in ice fishing suits, while heavy fleece insulation is often used to provide both long-lasting warmth and moisture-wicking capabilities. While all ice fishing suits contain varying levels of insulation, some styles are purposely designed to be thinner and roomier to accommodate additional layering underneath your suit.
