What is specialty structural hardware?

Specialty structural hardware can include metal bars, flat sheets, tread plate, rods and tubes that can be used to build or repair structural elements. The types of metal most often used are lightweight aluminum or durable and weldable steel.

What are the different types of specialty hardware?

Specialty hardware for structural work can be grouped into three categories: flat bars and sheets, square and round tubes, and angle lengths that can be slotted for use with bolts. These parts are metal, can be used for installation, repair, and building, and are typically made from aluminum or steel. Specialty hardware can also include steel springs and pulleys for transmitting power from a motor to a belt
