Is it necessary to rinse the carpet after shampooing?

Rinsing the carpet is important because it will remove leftover chemicals from the cleaning process, which can leave a residue that can speed up the rate the carpet gets dirty in the future. If you have pets or small children, getting all the chemicals out of the carpet is important for their safety. If you are spot treating by hand, this is an important step, otherwise your machine will do it for you.

Can I shampoo my own carpet?

If you don’t want the cost of a professional carpet cleaning, you can shampoo it yourself. We carry all the carpet cleaners and extractors that make it easy and convenient to shampoo your carpets and keep them spotless, including formulas designed for high traffic areas, pet stain removers, and more.
