Is it cheaper to have a water cooler and dispenser compared to water bottles? While a water cooler dispenser is a larger upfront cost versus bottled water, over time it averages out to cost less. Water coolers and dispensers also provide a fresher taste and are a great way to cut back on plastic bottle waste.

How do I clean my water cooler?

Unplug your water cooler and drain the remaining water, then carefully take out any removable parts before filling the water reservoir with a cleaning solution. Brush the inside of the reservoir, let the solution sit for a couple of minutes, drain it out, then rinse the reservoir thoroughly with fresh water before putting the removable parts back and loading a new bottle.

How long can water sit in a water cooler?

For optimum freshness, it's recommended that water sit in a running water cooler for no longer than 3 weeks.
