First, make sure you are on a flat and level surface. Then find a flat surface under your motorcycle. Some models have a design that provides you with a reasonable amount of flatness underneath. Other’s can be trickier. If that’s the case, use wood blocks to stabilize the bike. Next, position the motorcycle jack under the center of the flat surface of the bike. Before activating the jack, ensure that motorcycle is completely stable. Use tie-down straps if you need to. Once the motorcycle is as secure and steady as possible, use the foot pedal of the jack and raise your motorcycle slowly.
