What is a smart plug?

If you’re looking to make your home smarter a great way to start is with smart plugs. Smart plugs are a simple way to control and automate wired devices and appliances in your home. Setting them up is easy and require you to simply plug them in and connect them to your Wi-Fi setting on your phone.

To use, you simply plug in your device, for example a fan, coffee machine, air purifier or lamp, into your smart plug and you’ll be able to control your item from your device.

What are the benefits of smart power plugs? Being able to control our device by turning them on or off is a great way to conserve energy. They can also be programmed by setting lights to turn on when you’re not home for extra security and peace of mind.
