What is the difference between a riding mower and a lawn tractor?
A riding mower is meant to be used for mowing lawns and often does not have the capacity to tow or haul.

In addition to mowing, a lawn or yard tractor also has the capacity to haul and be used with additional attachments like tow sweepers, grass baggers, spike aerators and more.

Another difference can be the positioning of the cutting blades, but this may vary by model.

How do I maintain a riding mower or lawn tractor?
Regular maintenance is important in ensuring maximum performance from your lawn tractor or riding mower.

A high-level checklist of must-dos includes:

1. Clean the mower after use

2. Lubricate mower parts

3. Change the air filter (as necessary)

4. Replace spark plugs (as necessary)

5. Check the belts

6. Regularly change the oil
