Advantages of air tools

Are air tools better than electric tools?

Air tools and electric tools have different advantages and strengths. Electric tools are easier to set up and use, and don’t require compressed air to run, while air tools weigh less and are more durable, since they’re air cooled and have less complicated internal drives.

What tools can you use with an air compressor?

Pneumatic tools cover a wide range of roles and include air grinders, staplers, and nailers to sand blasters, drills, wrenches, ratchets, and sanders. Air tools are particularly popular in garages because they offer a high power to weight ratio compared to other tools, making them more comfortable for long jobs.

How do air tools work?

Air tools work by connecting to a source of compressed air that drives their motors. Most tools will indicate the minimum or optimum air pressure required to run them properly, as well as how much compressed air they need per minute of operation.
