Maybe it was the type of screw, or maybe i just didnt use the extractor properly, but no matter how deep i drilled it would not catch. Ended up drilling out the screw and retapping it...got the job done...

Affordable Good Screw Extractor

It really helps us remove broken/damaged screws. Takes little effort to do the removal. Material quality could be a little bit more stronger, but it can handle some medium torque in it. I recommend for the affordable price and ease of use.

A: Yes – it should work on any screw head. The premise is that the screw head is stripped and therefore unusable regardless of its profile (Phillips, slot, Robertson, Hex , Star or Torx). To use the screw extractor it is recommended that a drill be used on the head of a screw to set a bed for the tip of the screw extractor. Hope this helps.
