What is the difference between a hammock and patio swing?

Hammocks generally hang between two poles or trees. They are the ultimate in relaxation, tend to be a more budget-friendly lounge option for your yard and can be portable. Patio swings, however, are more versatile in terms of where they can be placed, usually seat up to 3 people, offer more stability and are easier to get in and out of.

Some hammocks and swing chairs feature removal covers that may be machine washable. If not, hand washing with soapy water and rinsing thoroughly should do the trick. In the off-seasons, your best bet is to store any removal fabrics or cushions away to protect them from the elements. Everything required for proper installation is generally included with purchase, however accessories that can be purchased separately include s-hooks, straps and screws for hanging hammocks, as well as cushions and blankets for added comfort.
